The Yagi Satellite Antenna is a moisture-proof, stainless steel or aluminum transmission apparatus suitable for use near the ocean or environments susceptible to chemically corrosive elements. The antenna’s high gain allows for operation with data collection platforms transmitting at less than 10 watts and is suitable for applications requiring directional uplink between METEOSAT / GMS satellites over either domestic and international channels. When pointed midway between satellites, the Yagi Satellite Antenna is capable of transmitting a bandwidth sufficiently wide enough to illuminate two or more GOES satellites, ensuring expedient information relay.
