SUTRON Temperature Sensor, Soil/Water, non linear output, 15 ft cable

Sutron's soil & water temperature probes, available in either the 5600-0030 or 5600-0010 models, are UV-resistant, highly sensitive thermistors encapsulated in epoxy-filled aluminum housings. While not designed for deepwater immersion, each Soil & Water Temperature Probe is water-tight and suitable for water temperature measurements in, rivers, lakes, wells, reservoirs, bogs, and wetlands. There are no standard mounting kits that come with the temperature probes. Typically, this sensor is installed in protected conduit and guided into directly into the water with cables up to 100 feet. The 5600-0010 Soil and Water Temperature probe has the same features as the 5600-0030 with the exception of an additional feature of a linear output. The linear output eliminates the need to program a complex equation into the data recorder to convert the voltage to a temperature.
